Sightseeing Attractions.

Things you have to see in Bali:

1. Mount Agung and Besakih Temple

Bali’s prominent stratovolcano is otherworldly and sits among some of the most remarkable scenery in Indonesia. Mount Agung is superb and the peak’s Mother Temple of Besakih is absolutely the top must-see attraction in Bali.

2. Tenganan

Tenganan village is in the vicinity of Candidasa, East Bali and a complete throwback to venerable Balinese customs. Inhabitants follow ancient traditions and practices and while there are other similar villages in Bali, Tenganan is fairly open to outsiders. A visit here has to rank as one of the most unforgettable experiences on the island.

3. Uluwatu Temple

Uluwatu Temple is one of the key shrines on the island of Bali. The holy sanctuary, like Padangtegal, has a feisty monkey population, so hold on to your hat and digital camera.

4. Pura Ulun Danu Bratan / Bedugul

Pura Ulun Danu Bratan is another vital water temple in Bali. The spiritual landmark on Lake Bratan in the Bedugul area of Central Bali is well worth the trek. The mountains of Bedugul also contain another brilliant point of interest in the UNESCO World Heritage rice terraces of Jatiluwih.

5. Kintamani and Pura Ulun Danu Batur

The highlands of East Bali hold many beautiful secrets and comprise the veritable soul of the island. Kintamani is a gorgeous area of verdant forests, caldera lakes and cool mountain weather. Pura Ulun Danu Batur, a holy shrine on Lake Batur under the loom of Mount Batur, is a must for visitors to Kintamani.

6. Banjar Hot Springs

The natural thermal waters of Banjar will heal the muscle aches of even the most avid surfers. After days of being thrown about like a pinball by Bali’s infamous waves, head 10 km west of Lovina’s black sand coast to a lush, unforgettable asylum of luxury.

7. Bali Barat National Park

A lush, phenomenal wildlife refuge if ever there was one, Bali Barat National Park covers almost ten percent of the island and contains a massive variety of endemic fauna and flora. Great dive and snorkel sites await visitors off the coast of Menjangan Island.

8. Ujung Water Palace

In East Bali. Taman Ujung Soekasada was the residence of Karangasem Royal Family between 1909 and 1945. It was built in 1919 by the late King of Karangasem, I Gusti Bagus Jelantik. The King of Karangasem Djelantik with his wives (yes, plural..) and children lived here, and it is also their proud place to welcome royal guests from other regions and even countries. It is very interesting to look at their private rooms with old style traditional bed, old family photos hang on the walls.

9. Git Git waterfall

Have a splashing time at Bali's waterfalls, from the Gitgit Falls, Blahmantung Falls, and Singsing Falls, to the cool pools of Yeh Sanih and the soothingly hot springs of Banjar. Soak up on refreshing jungle sights and smells at Bali's rich national parks.
Located 10km to the south of Singaraja, the cascading Gitgit Waterfalls are not far from the main road.
A spectacular 40 metres of crystal clear water rushing headlong into a seemingly bottomless pool that tempts visitors with a tantalisingly refreshing swim.

10. Klung Kung - The Kerta Gosa

The Klungkung Palace is a historical building complex situated in Semarapura (Klungkung), the capital of the Klungkung regency.
The Kertha Gosa pavilion is an example of Balinese architecture located on the island of Bali. Close to the palace.
Kertha Gosa means - “the place where the king meets with his ministries to discuss questions of justice.” The story of Bhima Swarga is elaborate and all-embracing. Bhima Swarga in Balinese means, “Bhima goes to the abode of the gods.” Swarga literally means to any place where the gods happen to reside, Heaven or Hell.

and many more.....
like rice fields of Tabanan, Lake Batur, Mount Gunung Agung, .....

Re: Sightseeing Attractions

I cherished the moment when I was at Uluwatu Temple in Bali. It was awesome to be at such a wondrous shrine. After being in China (which I got there out of curiosity after watching China travel video), Bali is the place which caught my heart for its beauty, culture, lifestyle and not to mention food!
